Common questions

Booking, Timing and the 30-Minute Guarantee

How do I book online?

Fill in the online form and you'll get a call back to lock in a time. It's the fastest way to get the $50 online-booking offer applied to your job.

What happens after I call?

A licensed plumber talks through what's going on, then we get a van moving. Before anyone touches the drain, we hand you a fixed price to approve on-site, so nothing's left to guess at.

What counts as a drain emergency?

Sewage rising up inside the house, water pushing back through floor drains, or a toilet you can't stop from spilling over. Those need someone out fast. A slow sink that's still draining can usually wait for a booked slot. If you're not sure which one you've got, call anyway. It costs nothing to ask, and we'd rather check than have you guess wrong.

How fast can you get here?

On-site in 30 minutes guaranteed once you've called. That guarantee holds day or night, including weekends and public holidays.

Common questions

Money, Quotes and the $50 Off

What does "$50 off when you book online" cover?

It's $50 off the job total when your booking comes through our online form rather than a phone call. No catch, and nothing extra to fill in beyond the usual details.

Do you charge a call-out fee?

No. $0 call-out fee, every time, whether it's a five-minute look or a full inspection. The bill only ever covers the work you've agreed to, after you've approved the quote.

Is the quote really free?

Yes. Free quotes, no strings, before anything happens to your drain. If you decide not to go ahead, you owe nothing.

How does the 10% seniors discount work?

Seniors card holders get 10% off the job total. Mention it when you book so it's already applied by the time we quote.

Common questions

Local Answers for Kingsgrove

Do you know Kingsgrove's pipe stock?

Kingsgrove filled in mostly after the railway station opened in 1931, so a lot of the older streets still run on vitrified clay drainage from that build-out. We see it constantly, cracked joints and all.

Why do Kingsgrove's older drains keep blocking?

Mature street trees are the biggest culprit. Roots find the joints in that older clay pipework and force their way in, and once they're through, everything else gets caught behind them.

Do you work on strata and apartment blocks?

Yes, including the newer unit blocks near the station and main roads. Shared drainage runs need sign-off from the right person, and we're used to working through that with a strata manager or owner. Older blocks tend to share one common line to the street, so a blockage in one unit can show up as a slow drain two doors down.

How local are you, really?

We work Kingsgrove week in, week out. It's not a suburb we visit now and then. Our vans are through here often enough that the streets aren't a surprise.

Common questions

Licensing and Responsibility

What warranty do I get?

Every job carries a lifetime labour warranty. If it's not right, we come back. No questions, no cost, no time limit on that promise.

What is an overflow relief gully and why does it matter?

It's the grated fitting near your house, usually low on an external wall, designed to overflow safely outside instead of backing sewage up inside. Never build over one or seal it shut. If yours is bubbling or overflowing, that's often the first visible sign of a blockage further down the line.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, Master Plumber accredited, and covered by $20 million public liability insurance. All checkable, none of it assumed.

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

A plunger on a simple sink or toilet blockage is fine. Anything beyond that, chemicals or a hired eel included, is where NSW law requires a licensed plumber and where you risk cracking old clay pipe further.
